I've got another question about BofA. We got a new short sale file at the end of July and sent docs immediately to BofA, there's a scheduled Trustee's Sale of 8/23/2010, they've received all the documents, but it still has not been moved to "active" status. This has been the response for the last couple of phone calls and we're quickly running out of time. According to the short sale department, today is the day to make the official request for postponement (5 business days before the Trustee's sale when not assigned to a negotiator), but since the file is not "active" they cannot make the request. They've put in a request to have the file reviewed and moved to active status.
What other strategies can we use to get the Trustee's Sale postponed at this point?
