It depends on the type of loan whether or not it will be put into Equator. The best thing to do is submit the package to their short sale department fax # and once the file is received and "activated" it will be setup in Equator if it's the type of loan that their putting there. You can just call the short sale department for status updates and they'll let you know if it's in Equator.
In my BoA experiences lately, FHA loans are NOT submitted through Equator. You get to speak with or email live persons regarding your FHA loan. Be sure to keep the CS# close by for checking status when you're not able to reach anyone via phone or email.
